Chiefs linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis was arrested on Thursday night, according to Terez A. Paylor and Tony Rizzo of KansasCity.com. The 26-year-old was charged with “misdemeanor possession of marijuana, THC and drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to display a valid license plate or current registration.”
Pierre-Louis appeared in Johnson County District Court on Friday and pleased not guilty to the various charges. He was subsequently released after posting a $2,500 bond.
The 2014 fourth-round pick out of Boston College spent the first three seasons of his career with the Seahawks. He was traded to the Chiefs last offseason in exchange for linebacker D.J. Alexander, and he proceeded to have the best season of his career. Pierre-Louis played in 14 games for Kansas City in 2017, compiling a career-high 41 tackles.
LOL! Normal for the NFL players
How on earth can an NFL player not possess a valid drivers license???
Ha! Or a license plate and registration.
He’s probably gonna get released.
Nothing new for the National Felon League
Stories like these and all the domestic violence issues this league has are just more reasons people have begun to turn away. It’s sad because this league and its players were once good on and off the field with hardly any issues but now it seems like 20% of the players get in some sort of legal trouble each offseason. Getting old
It seems to occur rather frequent during the season also.
