hey buffalo give the bears your 21 and 22 pick plus next year 1st or 2 depending on the points and get your QB
That’s too much to give. Especially with the depth in qb this draft, they can get their qb at 21 maybe but like a little upgrade and at 15 they can get one of the almost equilavent 5 qbs
Qb is over rated in this class. You arnt gonna get someone will take you to the playoffs at 21. And to get to 8 both firsts and the second plus a third is even value and trading up you pay a premium so the next year first over a second and third is a slight over pay but about market value if they want their guy. Browns giants Denver and jets will all get their guy so honestly unless they like the fifth qb they need to trade up higher probably with Indy at 3 if they truly wanna get their guy
Move up to 8th?
I was thinking 21 ,22, and your 3rd rounder and 2018 2nd round pick
To CLE for their no.4 overall , 5th, 7th rounder and 2018 6th round pick
That’s a premium pick. I could be off a pick or two or a round or two but I like it
Why would the Bears trade their QB after they build a coaching staff specifically tailored to develop him?
They said trade for the Bears No. 8 pick. Not Trubisky
When and where does this coin toss take place for the 9&10 pick?
The Scouting Combine
Thanks
The one thing the Browns do right is their trades with the Texans.
No, they got that wrong too. If the Browns could give that pick back to the Texans for Deshaun Watson they would.
#4 overall is plenty high enough to make up for Watson. Wasn’t just talking about that trade either. They also got the 4th pick of the 2nd round for taking 1 year of Osweilers dead money.
Osweilers dead money for the 2nd round pick is a good point and that was absolutely worth it for all parties involved. I bet when the Browns passed on the opportunity to draft Watson it’s because they thought Kizer would perform better than he did. With the benefit of hindsight Deshaun Watson is way more valuable than the #4 pick.
Or wrong and take Watson for themselves.
congrats to the 49ers on dropping 6-7 spots in the draft for a QB that’s about to become expensive.probably too expensive if the past few FA QBs that signed are any indication
49ers have an absurd amount of cap space, that shouldn’t be an issue. I read earlier that they could, conceivably, lock up Jimmy G, sign all of their targeted free agents, and still have roughly $50 mill in cap.
There was talk that if they give him say 25ish a year it would be like 5/120 ish.
They have so much cap space this year they might actually front load the crap out of it and give him 65 mil for the first year and then have him for 4 years 55 after that. Since they have the space now it would be dumb to waste it.
and they could have done all of that with the #3-5 pick in the draft as well…
Not to mention the possibility of franchise tagging Jimmy G.
Finding their franchise QB is worth dropping a few spots.
If I was the 49ers jimmy g is the future, regardless the cost. He took over a 1-9 team and won 5 straight. He s more valuable than any QB in the draft.
