As the Panthers continue to make a push for Milton Williams, they remain active in seeking out defensive upgrades. Tre’von Moehrig looks to have an agreement in place.
One of the free agent class’ top safeties is expected to head to Carolina, Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports. He adds Moehrig is set to receive a three-year, $51MM pact. The Raiders were interested in retaining him, but the 25-year-old will find himself on the move provided the contract is finalized.
