SATURDAY, 10:45am: Tucker is facing allegations from three new massage therapists, per Justin Fenton of Baltimore Banner. These allegations come from three women who worked at the same Baltimore men’s spa. One woman produced an internal report regarding her interactions with the player from 2015.
In response to the latest allegations, Tucker’s lawyers told Baltimore Banner to refer to Tucker’s statement that referred to accusations as “unequivocally false.”
THURSDAY, 2:00pm: Six massage therapists have accused Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of inappropriate sexual behavior during treatments that occurred between 2012-16, the Baltimore Banner’s Julie Scharper, Brenna Smith and Justin Fenton report.
The alleged inappropriate conduct took place at four high-end Baltimore-area spas and wellness centers. Tucker is accused of “exposing his genitals,” touching two of the therapists with his erect penis and leaving “what they believed to be ejaculate” on massages tables after three of the sessions. Two spas banned the decorated Baltimore kicker, according to the Banner, while several of the therapists either ended sessions early or refused to work with him again.
Attorneys representing Tucker deny any wrongdoing, including any bans taking place. In a statement posted to X, Tucker said the massage therapists’ allegations are “unequivocally false.” Tucker said he has never been accused of any inappropriate behavior by a massage therapist and accuses the Baltimore Banner of “misconstruing events as nefarious and relying on third party speculation.”
The women who are accusing Tucker of misconduct during sessions are unnamed. Tucker’s lawyers, per the Banner, mentioned more than a dozen therapists who had worked with Tucker. Four of them responded to questions, after the kicker’s representation insisted inquiries go through the Ravens, with positive accounts of interactions with Tucker.
The Banner, however, details the alleged instances of sexual misconduct. And it will cause issues for the future Hall of Fame specialist. An NFL statement (via NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport) indicates the league had not been apprised of these allegations until recently. A league investigation is on tap. Tucker has not been charged with a crime, and the Thursday report does not mention any civil suits having been filed. Tucker could still be subject to an NFL suspension under the personal conduct policy.
Tucker, 35, has been the Ravens’ kicker since 2012. In that time, he has built one of the greatest resumes in the history of the position. The eight-time All-Pro is regarded by many to be the best kicker in NFL history. Tucker is coming off a down season, having missed a career-most eight field goal attempts. Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said after the team’s divisional-round loss the franchise expects Tucker to bounce back and remain one of the game’s best. He is under contract through the 2027 season.
Attended the Deshaun Watson and Brett Favre University of Happy Endings. Kickers huh?
Don’t forget Robert Kraft!
He was a visiting Professor.
Kraft was never accused of sexual assault, he had a sexual relationship with a prostitute for money, a transaction between two consenting adults.
That isnt even in the same sport of what Watson and Tucker are accused of.
Never accused due to fact he was able to afford top defense lawyers who found a way to get videos thrown out. And if you consider paying someone n a facilty being investigated for trafficking consenting?
Look, if he paid her to do it and she willingly accepted then there’s no harm and no foul.
These players and their massages ♂️♂️
I was just thinking that. Massage therapist should get danger pay when they work with NFL players.
Deshaun Watson somewhere with tears in his left eye is proud
Why the left one lol
You know why hahah
‘normally we wouldnt have cared, but hes just a kicker’
Here we go!
He denied it? Shocking. Amazing how things are always misconstrued or there is some conspiracy against these guys. What a tool.
So you were there??
It’s guilty before being proven innocent these days, where have you been?
I mean, of course he did. Everyone does. Even if you’ve done something, admiting go it outright usually comes with worse outcomes than bargaining down your penalties. That’s just how the legal system works.
Yep
Is there now going to be a “Tucker Rule” in the NFL? Will the rule be as follows: If the player takes inappropriate penis action while on the table, it will be considered a very forward pass and the player will lose possession of the right to be in the NFL?
Heard the Browns’ just offered 3 firsts and a contract with $60M guaranteed.
It is funny how these things come out almost ten years later. I am not saying he did not do this. But if he really did and had a reputation for this why was it not brought forward sooner?
It probably took a while for those affected to find out about each other, which would make it safer to come forward. It’s also sadly safer to come forward now that he’s not great anymore. Probably fewer death threats from deranged fans now that it wouldn’t be depriving them of a star.
There’s been plenty of false accusations against athletes. Ezekiel Elliot, Matt Araiza, Duke Lacrosse players, Brian Banks, etc etc etc. This is another civil suit and not a criminal case. Who knows? Buzbee is probably behind this one too.
Not all of those have been proven false (I think you’ll have to be more specific about which Elliot incident, because one was on video). There have also been tons of cases where athletes were let off the hook for acts they did commit. Also, there’s literally no civil suit here yet, so you’re jumping to a lot of conclusions there.
Araiza and Duke LAX proven false.
We do objectively know Araiza had sex with a minor (allegedly unbeknownst to him) and gave her an STD without disclosing he had the STD which is a crime in California (where it happened).
Jumping to conclusions is saying it may have taken time for these women to get together, or is safer now to come forward. I don’t doubt athletes used to get away wirh bad behavior (pre Ray Rice) but it seems like the pendulum has swung from me too, to nobody believes you, because of so many false accusations.
You dont make public accusations like this, from unknown sources, without a civil suit coming down the pipeline. Tucker’s team is indicating they will sue them back, and running this through the team (the right way). Let the truth come out.
lol if you actually think athletes getting away with bad behavior is a thing of the past.
Now that many events are caught on video, yeah. The Ray Rice video of him punching his wife unconscious forced the NFL (and all pro leagues) to take discipline more seriously. They arent blurbs in a newspaper anymore, they’re plastered all over TMZ and social media. I’d think you’d agree with that.
And?
And thank God in this country you’re innocent until proven guilty. Rule of law and all that good stuff.
That’s for criminal charges, which he isn’t facing. For civil cases—which he also isn’t facing—you’re guilty if it seems 50.1% likely you’re guilty. For the NFL, they can have their own standards. Big Ben was never found guilty in a court of law, but the NFL clearly saw enough in their own investigation. Same with Watson.
But you’re not guilty in a civil matter. You’re liable.
We aren’t told what the NFL saw or didn’t. Employment records are usually confidential. As of today, someone said something about Tucker. That’s about the extent of this.
“Probably”….
Valid question and the answer might have something to do with how much kickers earned 10 years ago. They still get paid peanuts compared to some other players.
You’ve always got to question 10 year old accusations. Does seem absurd that a ” Bunch” of people just said nothing for 10 years. Seems odd.
Certainly odd. Why wait 10 years? Fishy
Well he was banned according to the article. I don’t think he got banned for poor tipping
according to him, he has never been banned from anywhere.
According to Watson, he did nothing wrong
I saw someone made a tweet about this in 2021 so I guess it takes time
Nothing like stepping up to the plate 10 plus years later..
Why not say something sooner?
Someone accusing Justin Tucker of sexual misconduct in his prime without knowing other victims would likely have their life messed up and been run out of town with a good chance of nothing happening to Tucker.
That cannot be assumed.
That’s why I said “would likely” and not “would definitely.” It’s enough of a risk to make someone not come forward right away. This is true in a huge percentage of sexual assault/misconduct cases, and is even more true where rich, famous people are concerned.
It also can’t be assumed that a delay in coming forward means something fishy is going on. Tucker has a right to defend himself but the accusers have a right to make their claims, even if there is a lengthy delay.
Cause the newspaper just found out about it. The accusers didn’t come forward.
@Lefty_Orioles_Fan Maybe because there’s more $$$ in his bank account at this stage of his career?
I’m guessing all the accusers suddenly realized Justin Tucker has more money to pay for a settlement than Brandon McManus.
I’m pretty certain he is beyond the statute of limitations for a civil suit. He could still be charged criminally, but I don’t see it based on the evidence in the article.
There are statutes of limitations for criminal acts too. Varies by state. It’s pretty hard to for a DA to prosecute a sex crime 10 years later with no evidence of a crime, per what was said in this article.
I don’t know about that. Trump lost a civil suit from something that happened 30 years ago
Civil and criminal are two very different things. The level to win is different. For civil, you need a perponderence of evidence (greater than 51%) where is criminal its beyond a reasonable doubt (greater than 80%). Civil cases are more of a jungle because anyone can pretty much bring forward any claim without much evidence.
I was actually responding to the mustard guy. You didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know. I’m very well versed in this
I’m guessing women don’t give you the time or day.
By your comment I’m guessing your only girlfriend in your life has been Jill.
I’d have to have a creative explanation for my wife as to why other women are giving me the time of day…and I’d rather avoid that situation 🙂
Say what you will about Bob Kraft, at least he found a “spa” instead of a spa and a “masseuse” instead of a masseuse.
These opera singers are always getting into trouble for this stuff.
This is by far the best comment I’ve seen here.
Accuses the Baltimore Banner of “misconstruing events as nefarious and relying on third party speculation.”
Totally read that wrong. My brain saw “misconstruing events as nefarious and relying on third party ejaculation.”
I’m like why are you relying on a third party for that???
How convenient that this came out right after forgetting how to kick. I’m SURE the org didn’t know before this………….
That’s true a lot of the time. People knew Harvey Weinstein was a sex pest for years, but he finally faced ramifications when his career dipped.
If I didn’t know any better it looks like the Ravens would like to move on from him and his contract. Guessing there must be guaranteed money left or dead cap space hits involved. And contract most likely has personal conduct clause as do most player contracts.
It certainly looks like a hatchet job. I’ve looked up Tucker’s contract. There’s only $2,872,500 left of the original $17 million in guarantees on $24 million for four years signed in 2022. The best placekicker in the NFL comes relatively cheap.
While I have a poor opinion of John Harbaugh and loathe the Ravens, I would hope they would not set up their HoF kicker over $2,872,500.
Why not both? If Tucker was dumb enough to do it and make himself vulnerable, it would behoove the org to take advantage.
SPLOOGE!
Not sure why this is still something that people don’t understand, but there are so many reasons why victims of sexual abuse / misconduct don’t come forward until years later. I’m not going to list them here, but you can look them up. The fact that these allegations took place more than 10 years ago does not invalidate them or mean there is some kind of conspiracy against Tucker.
The comment sections for the “Rumors” sites are cesspools.
I don’t know if you’ve been following the news Daddy-O, but there have been lots of false accusations these past five years. Me-too opened the flood gates to women randomly ruining men’s lives. If you think women don’t abuse the power of false accusations or lie (whether about men or among themselves), you don’t know women.
There are just as many villains among women as among men, just their weapons are different. Insinuation and slander have always been top of the pole for the distaff side.
WOW … if he left SPUNK on the Massage table … why, that’s DNA Evidence !
Why wait 9-13 years to come forward? I’ve never understood this.
As a person who experienced PTSD from September 11, I can attest that sometimes you don’t even realize that an event or situation caused a mental health issue. It took me 10 years and a loaded gun in my mouth to realize that I should be speaking to a professional about depression instead of trying to rationalize why I had mood swings or thoughts about suicide.
The human brain compartmentalizes trauma to protect the conscious mind. Sometimes, all it takes is another traumatic event to open the floodgates and force you to experience emotions you didn’t even know existed.
I’m not saying that this is the case with the victims in this instance, but it is certainly a plausible cause for why victims take so long to speak out about traumatic experiences.
Or maybe these high end massage therapists see a opportunity for a quick buck.
A quick buck when there isn’t even a lawsuit announced?
oooof what world are you in.
One where a lawsuit has not been announced?
There’s no bucks to be made. Statute of limitations has passed. No lawsuits. No settlements.
Wow, had squeaky clean image before today. Maybe that’s why he had rough year. Wasn’t usual Mr. Clutch, could see he lost some mojo by his body language. Maybe, he knew this PR fiasco was headed his way. Alleged. 6 women, so far. What a mess. How do Ravens handle it ? Ray Rice style ?
Lot’s of maybes perry mason
Two actually.
This makes sense if they had reached out to him or his agent saying we are publishing this, any comments?
Would explain why he sucked all of a sudden if he was battling the anxiety or whatnot
Who really cares anymore? This stuff is just a ticket to settlements, nothing else.
I don’t think there will be settlements as it would appear this alleged conduct is outside the statute of limitations for a lawsuit.
Unofficial agreement to withdraw their testimony or not appear in court. Not saying this is the case but the statute of limitations on civil suites is not as clear cut as it seems.
The article says “After receiving a tip on Jan. 9, The Banner began investigating and spoke to six massage therapists who recounted troubling firsthand experiences with Tucker from 2012 to 2016.”
So I don’t think this was the women coming forward so much as a reporter contacting them and getting them to go on the record.
Presumably the reporter would then be credited as an “unimpeachable NFL insider” by Mike Florio…lol.
Not sure I believe it. But may be the excuse the ravens need to cut him after a shaky season
Justin Tugger?
Haha … his whole year has been jerked off course …
If I were an NFL player, I would NEVER get a massage, EVER… accept in my own shower with my own hand.
Says you, Assdribble.
After reading your post, my immediate thought was, I think it’s a bit over the top to call the guy “Assdribble.” Then I read his user name.
As an aside I find it hilarious when someone criticizes another poster on some sanctimonious grounds and you look at their user name and it’s something ridiculous like ThumbtackOnMyNutsack.
Yeah, I think his name is hilarious, actually. I did not mean it as actual criticism in any fashion.
it’s my unit, its my soap, i will wash it as fast as i want to.
After reading the posting I’m guessing most folks haven’t been to a professional massage therapist. It can be quite sensual depending on the therapist. It’s not just a neck rub like you’d get from your wife that’s tired of ya.
I’d say sue the therapist for inappropriate massages
A professional massage therapist would know that happy endings are not appropriate or expected.
Tucker … the man and his wet dream.
Are 6 therapists wrong?
Maybe these massage therapists didn’t get what they wanted.
If you find them on IG like Watson did, not as credible as full-time professionals in a massage shop.
I love how everyone is jumping to conclusions.
I’d prefer to somersault to conclusions but I’m a senior citizens now… so I mostly limp to conclusions 🙂
Not using your Jump to Conclusions mat Lemon?
I may have an old Hasbro Twister mat hidden somewhere in the attic but I’m not sure it would help me reach a conclusion… other than I’m far too old to be playing Twister 🙂
Surprised they left the comments on for this lol
I’d hope that they would. I’m not interested in speculating (you will find in these sorts of things that there is never any conclusion that cannot be undone by unexpected evidence), but most places will close dialogue just because of the appearance of disagreement. They see conflicting points of view, and get nervous that it’s dangerous somehow-not necessarily to them, but to the public mood, I suppose.
People should be allowed to disagree, even vehemently. It’s only when they depart from disagreeing to directly insulting or inciting one another that it actually becomes harmful. I’m glad that we can continue to have discussions on the topic, and that PFR hasn’t gotten nervous just people aren’t all on the same page in the comments section. We shouldn’t be afraid of conflict, even if we should expect common courtesy.
We are fortunate that PFR isn’t a subsidiary of the NFL or a major corporate conglomerate. If that were the case, the staff would have to kowtow to some politically correct cowards at HQ, who would not want to risk upsetting sponsors with anything that might be controversial.
“If that’s illegal, lock me up.” – Creed Bratton, The Office
I don’t think this will be a happy ending for Justin Tucker
Shoulda paid these massage therapist off n had em sign NDAs. Coulda nipped this story in the bud. Ravens had to have known before this came out that there were complaints about his behavior.
Could explain these accusations ending 9 years ago.
100+ comments directed at a kicker has to be getting close to a record…lol.
2012?
Hahaha
Sex work should be legal in the US. Just sayin…. He paid her once to do her thing, now he has to pay her again through the lawsuit?!?! Ridiculous. They’re all grown adults. If he wants a rub and tug and she’s ok with it then there shouldn’t be a problem.
I know reading is really hard but where in this article does it say that any of these women were okay with it? Try learning to read it could help.
And where does it say they weren’t. Where does it say any of them said no? Give me a break.
Right because adding your own narrative to an article is what we all do. If you really don’t get it you should probably seek help, or try reading a book damn
You’re doing the exact same thing just in the opposite direction.
This comment section really shows how dumb society has become. A lot of people asked why did it take 10 years for these women to come out. Did you not see what happened to the girl who accused Kobe?
Yea the same girl he settled with out of court years later. Hmmm settled out of court, sounds like he admitted to doing something wrong like raping a 19 year old. Kobe really deserved that horrible death, not anyone else on that plane did though
You’re ridiculous. You don’t have the faintest idea what the underlying facts are. People are innocent until proven guilty. While you’re calling everyone “dumb” and “illiterate” perhaps you should do some reading yourself as to why that’s a cornerstone principle of our society. You’re ok with tyranny. Good to know.
The mute button was made for tools like you. Thank you trade rumors
So first I’m like why are they going to a lawyer for $ and the press when they say this happened in 2012-16? It doesn’t make sense. Then the fact that these are professionals in a business not someone he seeked out on Instagram. It’s a natural reaction on males that get massages on the thigh area to get erect and they are suppose to be professional about that. Who knows the size of Tucker? Would you think that maybe when getting erect thats when his penis so called “brushed them” It’s also normal for a pre eject drop to come out of a penis once it starts to get hard. I look at this as a female and think these women weren’t trained right and were in the wrong field because it’s a natural reaction for a man to get erect when getting massaged close to that area. Why would u wait almost a decade and come out with this now when nothing’s happened recently except him being in lots of commercials? Watson seeked out Instagram masseuses that worked out of their homes or somewhere odd and he would direct there hand on his penis and ask them to do something with it, or he would ask them for a happy ending etc and someone came out with it right after it happened and then more came out. This is completely different and over a decade ago and not because something happened recently. Why didn’t any of these women or businesses contact the Ravens if they thought wrong doing was done so they could look into any issue if there was an issue and to make them aware of it!? This just doesn’t make sense. Like a lawyer said this is impossible to prove. And look at kicker Brandon mcmanus situation with a plane full of witnesses for his vulgar behavior… The nfl said there was insufficient evidence and he was cleared of wrong doing and is now kicking for the Packers. I see this as young women in the wrong profession not knowing how to handle what happens to males with thigh area massages and how to act professional. They are suppose to be trained to handle that happening and if he’s pretty big on size I’m sure it would brush them when getting hard and may even lift the towel if he got fully erect. Im sorry but there’s no crime committed and coming out a decade later with this looks like a attempt for money grab but this shouldn’t even amount to them getting anything. It seems laughable and someone could’ve contacted the Ravens at any time during those years back then if they felt something inappropriate had occurred and they didn’t because there wasn’t anything wrong that happened and they know that.
Funny how these accusations come after he had the worst season of his career.
