FEBRUARY 25: When speaking about Tucker’s situation at the Combine, general manager Eric DeCosta said the Ravens will wait until the league’s investigation has concluded before making a decision (h/t Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post). DeCosta has spoken with Tucker as well as with the NFL (as noted by The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec). Until a final report from the league’s investigators is produced, Tucker will thus remain in the organization.
FEBRUARY 21: NFL investigators have begun interviewing women who have accused Justin Tucker of inappropriate conduct during massage therapy sessions, the Baltimore Banner’s Brenna Smith, Julie Scharper, Jonas Shaffer and Giana Han report.
A league investigation became known when the first report of alleged sexual misconduct against the Ravens kicker surfaced. After the latest round of accusers surfaced, it became a given the accomplished special-teamer would be under an NFL probe soon. It is not known how many accusers have met with the league thus far, but the Banner reports the investigation began this week and will continue with at least two more accuser meetings on tap in the next few weeks.
Sixteen women at eight spas and wellness centers have accused Tucker of sexual misconduct during sessions, with reports of the accusations coming out shortly after the Ravens’ season ended last month. Tucker has denied any wrongdoing. The women who have spoken with NFL investigators have done so after being made available by their lawyers, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reports.
The initial report in January, also from the Banner, alleged that inappropriate conduct took place at four high-end Baltimore-area spas and wellness centers. Tucker was accused of “exposing his genitals,” touching two of the therapists with his erect penis, and leaving “what they believed to be ejaculate” on massages tables after three of the sessions. Two spas reportedly banned the seven-time Pro Bowler, while several of the therapists either ended sessions early or refused to work with him again.
A woman who is part of the second round of known Tucker accusers produced an internal report about her interaction with the kicker. The claims the massage therapists have lodged range from encounters beginning in 2012 up until 2016. While the lack of any criminal or civil lawsuits separate this Tucker matter from the Deshaun Watson situation earlier this decade, the increasing volume of accusers reminds of what became a career-defining issue for the former Pro Bowl quarterback.
Whereas Watson’s talent and positional value landed him another chance — via a historic trade with the Browns — Tucker is now 35 playing a position much lower on the NFL totem pole. He also struggled to match his All-Pro-level form in 2024. The news of alleged inappropriate behavior threatens the All-Decade kicker’s status with the Ravens and in the NFL, at this point.
Watson is a disgusting predator but his “ talent and positional value landed him another chance”?? Wtf? So If you’re a qb its ok? But if you’re just a kicker your career is over?
I don’t think that they’re excusing it. It is true, though-Watson is a quarterback, and at the time was a good one, and that definitely made his landing easier.
For sure. I remember there being a lot more Watson defenders back when he first got traded to the Browns (before he displayed his regression on the field)
How was Watson’s landing easier? Do you even know what Tucker will receive as punishment? Tucker may be out a job but that’s mainly because of his kicking last year.
Will prob cost Tucker the Hall of Fame
Nope … he will get a pass like Ray Lewis did.
Well, Watson got a guaranteed, record setting deal, so…
If the allegations hadn’t been made, there would be no chance Tucker would have been out of a job because of his kicking. He very well be out of a job now due to the allegations because there is a lot of smoke here, and where there is smoke…
End of the day though, I don’t see how anyone can seriously ask how Watson’s landing was easier. If Tucker somehow doesn’t end up suspended at all, he’d have to kick for probably another 25 years just to make the money Cleveland handed Watson.
2 different positions. Tucker is one of, if not, the highest paid kicker. Punishment and fines should not be respective to someone’s salary, especially since both players’ accusations look eerily similar
If Watson had signed the contract he signed before the allegations, I’d give you that the money is inconsequential because of the positions. But he didn’t. Cleveland gave him all of that money after everything came out. That’s a pretty soft landing, especially with the way Cleveland structured the deal.
If this investigation into Tucker provides the league with enough reason to suspend him, it’s over for him. I’ll have zero sympathy for the guy in that event, but that’s undoubtedly a much harder landing. Even if he somehow isn’t suspended, no one is trading for him and giving him a record deal for the position even.
Completely agree with you that punishments shouldn’t be respective to someone’s salary, they should be handed out based on the offense. I’m not arguing against that. But it is impossible not to look at the financial side of it when judging the impact the punishments have on a pro player because, short of banning a guy, every punishment the league can hand out is meant to hurt a player monetarily.
Whatever he did or didn’t do, which if he did is pretty disgusting, he probably would have been on his way to the Hall of Fame before this happened. So, saying kickers are lower on the totem pole may be right, his career was not.
All you really need to look at to determine where on the totem pole a guy lands is his salary… Hall of Fame kickers versus starting QBs, not necessarily even HOF…
Yeah, Justin Tucker has made a little more in his whole career than Watson was paid last year.
Wow… That’s an excellent comparison. I had no idea, truthfully.
So does the NFL actually investigate? Or, does it go into straight cover-up mode?
They probably do. The NFL found enough in their investigations of Watson and Roethlisberger to suspend them.
Even if they don’t find much during an investigation you can figure some sort of suspension will result because Goodell has to (insert giggle here) protect the “integrity of the game” at all costs.
Looks like Cleveland just found its new kicker
This is all on Baltimore. Just like Ray Lewis. Just like Ray Rice. Baltimore Ravens knew this was going on

Deerhunter is a Browns fan who was still defending the Watson contract a year ago. All he’s got left is projection.
Me
Uh oh
Before this current report, was he known for ever making social media posts, or statements etc of a political nature? Odd it is a legacy media outlet going for destroying a man and not alleged accusers.
lol what?
The banner is the the new York post of Baltimore, a rag paper.
Oh my God. Is everything a conspiracy?

I’ve heard of people getting aroused during a massage and it traumatized my imagination – can I get in on the payday
I get massages all the time. If anything I fall asleep.
Like Frank Sinatra always said: “Always take care of your girls…..”
Amazing how everyone’s so quick to say he’s guilty. 10 years ago then now it comes out? How about give the guy benefit of the doubt unless you have seen evidence.. remember thr Duke lacrosse player accused and even convicted? Then she comes out years later and said she made it all up.. wait for some evidence or something. I’m not saying he’s innocent or guilty .. I’m saying as of right now it’s a he said she said. Amazing when lawyers get involved all of a sudden one person turns into 18. Just saying all didn’t say anything for 10 plus years. ? Seems atleast highly suspicious.. gonna see how this gets resolved since civil suits in MD expire after 3 years.. guarantee this lawyer is working an angle. If he’s guilty fine. If he’s innocent everyone saying things about him should remember this.. all I’m saying is wait before condemning
In the Duke lacrosse allegations there was ONE accuser. With Tucker there have been SIXTEEN women that have come forward. Use your common sense.
Its not an uncommon tactic for a lawyer to bring on anyone who will say damning things about the person theyre going after. On the lawyers end, it strengthens their case by having multiple people cooperate on a story. On the defendants end, they see $$$ and all they have to do is say the same things and settle in civil court. This is not to say hes innocent and theyre playing an angle, but common sense would suggest that the number of accusers doesnt necessarily matter as there are possible incentives for people to lie as a group more than as one singular person.
You’re an idiot Begamin. Ask the women in your life if they’ve ever been sexually assaulted.
Weak minded and weak willed people always jump to condemn bc in their mind it puts them in some higher mental plane by saying what they believe they’re supposed to, and truth and justice don’t matter. Their real goal is never fact. Facts don’t matter to them. An intelligent person on the other hand possesses patience and questions everything, then reacts when the conclusion is present rather than saying what they think they’re supposed to.
I don’t have a passport so they won’t let me board the “higher mental plane”. I’ve also heard the food is terrible and they always lose your luggage.
Being in severe denial is also a sign of mental weakness. I’m hoping it’s not true, but it’s not looking great for Tucker on this one.
