It was an especially busy day around the NFL, even for a trade deadline. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter (on Twitter), there was a deadline-record 10 trades made today, and per NFL Research (on Twitter), there was also a deadline-record 12 players who switched teams.
We’ve been keeping track of all of today’s moves, which we’ve compiled below:

Getting a (likely) high second round pick for a WR you aren’t keeping much longer anyway and picking up a low risk flier (swapping a 6 for a 7 in 2025 is as close to nothing as it gets) are hard moves not to like. Good work by Khan.
If they get a high pick (short of a stud LT being there) they should trade down, get a few extra picks, add this one to the pile and start filling holes on both lines.
Vikings committed highway robbery acquiring a top 10 pass catching TE for moving back what will likely be about a total of idk maybe 70 picks or something like that??
Dolphins made the biggest impact on their team, acquiring Chubb and Jeff Wilson Jr. They were able to strengthen their two biggest weaknesses with a big time Edge that has one of the highest win rate percentages, and then by adding a dual threat RB that is already familiar with their system and proven he’s capable of succeeding in their system from his success in SF.
Wilson Jr. carries with him a solid ypc average, and he’s more than capable of handling any 3rd down responsibilities by being a solid blocker and pass catcher from out of the backfield.
Now, on paper, the Dolphins are as real of a threat as the Bills and the Chiefs, and it is going to be fun to watch and see who ends up coming out of the AFC this season..
The NFC is all kinds of upside down and messed up..lol The NFC East is seemingly the best division, with potentially THEIR ENTIRE DIVISION making the playoffs, and the Vikings, Seahawks, and the Falcons are all currently leading the other divisions…
Right now, SF would hold the tie breaker over Washington, but still, what the heck is going on!?! Lol
Almost half of the current playoff teams, Seattle, Atlanta, NY Giants, were widely projected to finish last in their divisions…I can assure you no one had the Vikings running away with the division, while the Bears and the Packers would own the same records..
I’m sure things won’t stay this way, as Washington, the Giants, Atlanta, and probably Seattle will all hit their fair share of bumps in the road later on, but still the parody has been insane and absurdly unexpected. I know I certainly never expected this!!
I watch Hockinson every week…..there was no highway robbery committed.
I still think the 49ers win the West. They have been gimping the last 3 weeks so what you saw against Atlanta and KC wasn’t really what they are. Seattle will take the last wild card…..my opinion of course.
I still see some of the NFC East coming back to Earth because all 4 teams are in the top 12 in SOS in terms of easy schedules. They have 23 wins so far and only 5 of them are against teams above .500 with 2 of those 5 wins are within the division. Washington is going to fade quickly because they have all but 1 game against teams above .500 and they already have 0 wins against those type of teams.
Love the Hockenson move because I have him in fantasy and that upgrades me already. Not to mention I get Watson in a month. Watson, Kupp, Adams, Jacobs, Mostert, Hockenson, SF D and Succop. Hope it’s a winner.
LOL @ being on the same level as the Bills and Chiefs, that’s a stretch
I assume a poll will be conducted asking which team gained the most during the mid season trading period.
They can use the same poll after the draft order is set. To see which team got better value in player vs pick spot!
What are the Broncos doing? Anyone thought they’d trade first rounders for Russ only to flip Chubb to recoup one?
No Kenny Golladay trade. The Giants get to keep the ridiculous contract and the idle player.
