The Ravens sent Orlando Brown to the Chiefs on Friday, shuffling the first-round order of the NFL Draft once again. Now, the Ravens are one of four teams to hold multiple first-round picks, joining the Jaguars (Nos. 1 and 25), Jets (Nos. 2 and 23), and Dolphins (Nos. 6 and 18). In turn, Chiefs no longer have a top-32 choice, joining the Seahawks, Texans, and Rams.
As we look ahead to Thursday, here’s how the first round currently stands:
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
2. New York Jets
3. San Francisco 49ers (from HOU via MIA)
4. Atlanta Falcons
5. Cincinnati Bengals
6. Miami Dolphins (from PHI)
7. Detroit Lions
8. Carolina Panthers
9. Denver Broncos
10. Dallas Cowboys
11. New York Giants
12. Philadelphia Eagles (from SF via MIA)
13. Los Angeles Chargers
14. Minnesota Vikings
15. New England Patriots
16. Arizona Cardinals
17. Las Vegas Raiders
18. Miami Dolphins
19. Washington Football Team
20. Chicago Bears
21. Indianapolis Colts
22. Tennessee Titans
23. New York Jets (from SEA)
24. Pittsburgh Steelers
25. Jacksonville Jaguars (from LAR)
26. Cleveland Browns
27. Baltimore Ravens
28. New Orleans Saints
29. Green Bay Packers
30. Buffalo Bills
31. Baltimore Ravens (from KC)
32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Redskins will be trading up for sure.
Who the hell are the Redskins!!?
You mean Washington Football Team!
Chiefs hold 2 first round picks?
I’m pretty sure the writer meant to say the Ravens, but this is a confusing read. Standby for the edit.
After seeing that, I didn’t even have to look to know this is a Links special.
Rk, you took the words right out of my mouth
Zach really isn’t known for details or being accurate. It’s kinda his thing.
Plus, in Zach’s previous article announcing the trade, when he talked about certain left tackles elevating pay for all left tackles, he left out the highest paid left tackle. Trent Williams. But, as mentioned, it was a typical weakly written Zach Links article.
He fixed ’em. thanks zach
The RAVENS have two first rounders. Not the Chiefs
Not a bad trade. Chiefs get a starting LT and have 2 second round picks.
If i am eagles I am offering 1.12 and 3.20 for two first round picks from ravens
You wouldn’t even need to include the third. Those two first may not be enough in my mind to jump to 12.
According to the JJ chart, 12 is worth 1200 and 27 + 31 is worth 1280… granted the chart isn’t the end all be all, but there’s precedence for those picks being worth more than 12 alone.
if im the ravens, i hold with those two picks. two later first rounders are a good opportunity to find value at wr and on the o line, two areas of need
