In a Friday chat with reporters, Texans GM Nick Caserio declined to delve into the lawsuits against Deshaun Watson or the trade talk surrounding him. With respect to “the legal process,” Caserio explained that his focus is on the Texans’ offseason program and the upcoming draft.

“If you want to speculate, you should probably go buy Bitcoin,” Caserio said when asked about the QB’s future in Houston (Twitter link via NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero).
We’re not entirely sure about cryptocurrency, but, right now, it doesn’t seem likely that the Texans and Watson will be moving forward together. Before the slew of suits, Watson had been demanding a trade for months. Now, it makes even less sense for the Texans to keep the embattled quarterback.
One of the civil suits against Texans QB Deshaun Watson has been dropped, but another lawsuit has been filed, bringing the plaintiff count back to 22. Meanwhile, five of Tony Buzbee’s clients have spoken to police, raising the possibility of criminal charges.
Lol….not sure how much a future Watson has at this point….
Oh he has a future… I just might be behind bars depending on the legal process
Do you suppose he wanted out of Houston because he was not it of people to massage him there?
I hope this story has a happy ending
I do find it odd that this comes out when he demands a trade. Almost like the team was protecting him prior to that demand.
Seems weird to torpedo the trade value of a player who could get you a bunch of first round picks.
It doesn’t make any sense. The Texans’ front office is full of idiots (maybe just 2, but they control a lot), but they aren’t than freaking stupid.
They’re not getting those picks anymore. It makes the most sense for them to wait and see what happens. If they had any inkling when he first demanded a trade what was coming, they should have taken the first offer they got. Now the best they can hope for is that he’s able to play for them this season, at least after Week 8, then trade him before the deadline.
Jury is still out guys, but if the shoe fits…….
Cmon now – $$$ in America buys good lawyers and going to jail for happy endings it’s insane! Now how long before he returns, not sure but apologizing and donating a ton of money to abused women charities will certainly happen before the shield let’s him back to work.
If he were Robert Kraft and went to a rub and tug joint and got caught it would be a different story. Happy endings involve prostitutes. What Deshaun allegedly did is not in the same stratosphere. It’s more in line with going to a hospital and trying to get the nurses to touch your junk. Just because you don’t have pants on doesn’t mean it’s an invitation for sexual conduct.
Exactly. Kraft went to a massage parlor that was a front for a whorehouse, all of those there knew what business was being transacted. This clown hired professional masseuses and tried to get them to touch his junk.
I wouldn’t throw out the possibility that ALL of them were masseuses. Maybe they were, but if Kraft certainly proved that massages can definitely be fronts for prostitution. And, again, since we don’t know what actually happened, maybe we should wait and see before jumping to any conclusions?
Wow…just wow. I am all for due process and innocent until proven guilty, but be real guy. Why on earth would a rub and tug masseuse invite the public eye into their business? You wanna talk about jumping to conclusions, based on your statement you are accusing the victims of being prostitutes. The differences between what watson allegedly did and going to a brick and mortar front, like Kraft, is a freaking Grand Canyon divide
One got greedy and thought he would settle .. then lawyer got involved and asked around if others experienced same and money train was seen by them.. you will never convince me they weren’t willing participants the way this went down.. lawyer was like an ambulance chaser.. theses women saw dollar signs
I’m sorry but that is an ignorant comment
If you want to get rich, buy Bitcoin.
Learn it first though.
I do eToro and just use their ‘copy a trader’ feature. So far, ‘my trader’ is doing a heckuva fine job.
ETH is the future, baby.
I don’t think you mean Ethan Allen Interiors although it has been having a nice steady run up for the past year.
Doge is the way to go. It it’s selling for $.035 per share and had gone up 41% or so today. Bitcoin is at $61,780 and gone up 1%. If you put $61k on doge yesterday you would have made $240k or so. You would be up around $100 or a bit less.
After the stock advice I expect 5% of all profits. I will give a group disc. So my advice won’t get deleted Watson might want Covid to rip through the world again. He will probably get to play this year because of investigations and getting out on bail etc.
Not sure about next season but if this is true they should throw the book at him. He can hire Krafts lawyer who can claim they took that chance of Willy slipping out when he was naked during the massage. With that risk comes the chance if it does then him joking about them touching an NFL Willy should be an honor. Then he can claim the towel they gave him was too small. That makes it their fault and He can counter sure. It was probably a way to beat the embarrassment of them seeing his package. He will probably get away with it. I am not sure what happened with Kraft and they had video of him.
My boss made like $10k on Doge in the hour we were at the gym this morning.
I actually feel bad for Nick Caserio. You get the job of your dreams, get to handpick your first head coach and you have a franchise quarterback to help start your journey. I can’t think of a better situation for a 1st time GM. And then…everything goes all Houston Texans on him.
I’m not sure this could be described as a dream job. Before any of the drama started with Watson, there were some major obstacles to success. No draft capital, no cap space, top heavy roster, flaky ownership, dysfunctional front office, etc, etc, etc. Trent Baalke probably got a better job and that’s saying something because Jacksonville has it’s own problems.
We probably are not too far off from legalizing ‘services’ as long as the government gets a cut they don’t care. Theres a decent size movement behind sex workers rights tho.
Okay, but the reason he has so many accusers is because they were not “sex workers”…SMH
Seems like an irresponsible comment.
They might legalize those ‘services’ but this isn’t about that being illegal it’s about nonconsent. Assault will never be legal.
If anyone would like to buy “money” that I make on my computer, let me know.
This will probably work out in Watson’s favor, as he’ll get suspended by the league and not have to play for the Texans – but will still get to keep his signing bonus.
Great, they’ll transfer it to his commissary account, should buy a lot of honey buns, ramen noodles and picture tickets…
You seem to know a lot about prison commissary items. Is there a story we need to know? Lol
And stamps. You have to have stamps
If he’s guilty I doubt he gets much time. I’ve learned in my life that a good attorney can tell a story in such a compelling way he will raise doubt. I’m not sure if he’s guilty or not but his attorney is Rusty Hardin. The guys is a stud
Rusty Hardin is the scum of the earth…sorry to hear that you think he’s some kind of hero. Says a lot about you
He’s not wrong though. The rich and powerful walk all over the system of justice in this country.
