We’ll keep track of today’s late round signings here:
- The Patriots and third-round tight end Dalton Keene have reached agreement on his contract, a source tells Field Yates of ESPN.com (on Twitter). The Pats have motored through their draft class quicker than most – out of ten draft picks, only one remains unsigned, as shown in PFR’s tracker. Keene, one of two tight ends drafted by New England in the third round, figures to serve as an H-Back and line up at multiple positions in the NFL. He’s a solid blocker, too, though scouts say he needs to bulk up.
Patriots reached a lot this year with their picks.
While everyone else is trying to match Baltimore and KC, Belichek is out here trying to recreate the Gronkowski and Hernandez show.
Good things happening in NE.
3-13 this year.
Wow, there are so many people that have these insights into the future and are able to predict what will happen with such certainty.Do these powers only apply to football? Cause I need some of those powers to tell me about where to invest all my money.
3-13 for one year, they get Trevor Lawrence next draft and off to another Dynasty they go.
Baltimore and KC had Pro Bowl tight ends
Baltimore and KC are trying to “recreate Gronk/Hernandez” as well. I guess the irony of the OPs post is lost on only himself.
I don’t know about 3-13, they still have a pretty good defense. Yea the offense is definitely going to be a question mark but i mean Bill B is definitely one hell of a head coach. They definitely aren’t going to scare anyone like they used to but i think they are going to be better then 3-13. Bills will probably own that division this year.
3-13? Seriously? Buffalo could be legit but the Jets and Dolphins are still dumpster fires. Assuming they win 4 of the 6 games against their division opponents, 6-10 isn’t unrealistic nor is 8-8 if things break right. The D is legit and will keep them in games.
So you are locking in 4 wins against the division with now qb? The afc east always play each other tough. I don’t care how good New England has been, beating Miami is never a lock. See last year which cost the pats their first round bye and chance at super bowl
*no qb
Who doesn’t sign would make more important stories.
Oh, forgot, that never happens…..
It could happen if a player has an offer to play pro baseball or a player is from Army, Navy or Air Force and needs to get a clearance from the military. I think both those situations existed not that long ago.
One of each very recently, but seem like a lifetime ago, especially Murray.
Is 2020 over yet?
Packer fans must age faster than I thought…lol.
