Recently, Lamar Jackson created a bit of a stir when he worked out with free agent Antonio Brown. As a result, some have speculated about a potential fit between the Ravens and the controversial wide receiver, but GM Eric DeCosta didn’t have much to say when asked about his level of interest. 
“Those are in-house things,” DeCosta said (Twitter link via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com). “I don’t really feel the need to share that right now.”
Marquise Brown – Brown’s cousin and fellow SoFlo native – also took part in the workout, further the chatter even further. The wide receiver position is somewhere on the Ravens’ to-do list this offseason, but DeCosta doesn’t sound intent on bringing Brown to Baltimore. At least, if he is, he’s keeping it mum.
Also, for what it’s worth, DeCosta recently indicated that he is happy with what he already has in-house at WR.
“Do we feel the urgency? We probably feel that with every position,” the GM told the team website. “We want to be the best we can be at every position. This happens to be a wide receiver class with a lot of really good players. If we’re on the clock and we think that guy is the best player, we’ll probably pick him. Hopefully we can build our offense to the point where we can say, ‘Hey, we’re undefendable.'”
DeCosta also opined that there are “probably 25 draftable wideouts in this draft,” an indication that he’s looking more towards the rookie class than the free agent crop.

He’d at least be fun to play with on Madden…that is, until he runs his mouth and gets released three weeks into the season.
Antonyio first game will be the Ravens fifth game. Then , if history shows, the Ravens will get a bye in week 8, 9 or 10. For schedules delight, the Steelers will play the Ravens in week 5 and the week after the Ravens bye. Then , we can see if Antonyio would be worthy for an extension on a contract or time for retirement. He can be a plus because of his skills , training and techniques.
So let me see if I got this right Eric. Your spending less payroll on offense than every other team in the league but your going to have an offense that is “undefendable”? Good luck.
Well….. having a rookie QB on a rookie scale contract…. along with having guys still on rookie contracts at TE and WR.. it’s not that hard to see. Especially when that QB is Lamar Jackson
I think it’s just extreme confidence in their guys. Hollywood put up a great rookie year while playing at 70%, Andrews was the #2 graded TE by PFF for the whole season behind only George Kittle, and the offensive line was one of, if not the best in the league last year. Ingram-Edwards-Hill is a hell of a RB tandem too. If they add a good WR and replace Yanda in the draft the offense will be unguardable.
they were the 30th in offensive payroll last year and they went 14-2, so they very well could. Especially considering outside of Yanda they really didnt lose anyone on their offense and majority of them are on rookie contracts especially the QB.
Throw in they play with the Bengals and the Browns (yes on paper they look really good but they were the same last year). Steelers are only question mark in the division.

Hey man….you need to uncross your eyes and ears….the GM said basically he see’s the needs but feels that in a draft that heavy in WR talent, the Ravens can build a team that presents problems for any defense in the league….and that they don’t necessarily need to change internally as a team to get Brown into a Ravens uniform….this guy is bad news and will ruin the chemistry between players and management of that even exists these days.
Maybe they can pull a B.A. Barracus/A-Team move with Antonio Brown? Hit him over the head with a piece of wood and wake him up for the next week’s game? That will keep him under control.

Brown to Baltimore makes sense. They are probably lacking just 1 more quality WR to make them over the top.
The fact his cousin is also a WR and is on that team makes the fit better, Lamar was willing to give him a workout means there must be something there also.
If they give brown a 1 year 10 mil deal with incentives then watch out
the 10M better only have the league min guaranteed then otherwise he will just call his boss a racist slur and threaten him bodily harm in public so he can get released and sue them later for being released.

I’d go 1 mil signing bonus, 10 mil salary, 1 mil guaranteed, 1 mil for every 3 TD, 1 mil for 100 receptions, 1 mil for 1000 yards, 1 mil for pro bowl with a limit of 20mil.
Last year 29 players had 1000 yard years, 5 players had 100 receptions and Galloday led the league with 11 TDs. So you’d think if Brown played a full season and played well he would get the signing bonus, salary, pro bowl, atleast 6TDs, 1000 yards and maybe 100 receptions but I doubt that. That would give Brown 15mil possibly 16mil if he plays at that level. If he leaves early he gets 1 mil on signing, 1 mil guaranteed and 1 mil for every 3TDs so it wouldn’t be an expensive loss.

Even if your team wants him, the NFL, the law, and AB won’t allow it to happen.
I don’t think that at all. If the Ravens sign Antonio Brown after all the stuff he’s done I will find a new team to cheer for or just be a fan of the sport and not my home team.
They are already on thin ice with me with the London game fiasco a couple of years ago and then offering Kaepernick a contract before his racist girlfriend called Ray Lewis an Uncle Tom and Steve Biscotti a slave driver.

Go ahead sign AB. When his suspension is over he will have 8 weeks left to play. The prior 8 weeks he will for un his gapping hole mouth and by then everyone will be sick of him before he even plays. Ruining the team chemistry and a good shot at winning. Nobody can control him so don’t start that crap. Chucky, Belicheat, and naturally Tomlin but he can’t control anyone.
