The Eagles’ need for speed continues. Towards the end of the sixth round, the Eagles selected wide receiver Quez Watkins out of Southern Miss.

On Thursday night, the Birds used the No. 21 overall pick on TCU’s Jalen Reagor, who ran the 40-yard-dash in less than 4.3 seconds. Today, they swung a deal with the 49ers for former track star Marquise Goodwin, fleet footed Boise state receiver John Hightower, and now Watkins – another speed specialist.
Watkins posted the third-fastest time at the combine in Indianpolis and some believed he could go as early as the fourth round. The Birds, at No. 210, were happy to stop his fall.
Here’s a look at the Eagles’ draft haul thus far, courtesy of the PFR tracker:
1-21: Jalen Reagor, WR (TCU)
2-53: Jalen Hurts, QB (Oklahoma)
3-103: Davion Taylor, LB (Colorado)
4-127: K’Von Wallace, S (Clemson)
4-145: Jack Driscoll, G (Auburn)
5-168: John Hightower, WR (Boise State)
6-196: Shaun Bradley, RB (Temple)
6-210: Quez Watkins, WR (Southern Miss)
Bradley is a ILB
Actually he’s a 7 foot goofball center.
That ironically played for philly
7’6” but who’s counting ?
D.D.M. you win!
He actually was a decent center to end out his career. More of a second round pick not the number two pick
Actually, that 7’6″ Bradley spelled his first name with a ‘w’ instead of a ‘u.’ The Jets, on the other hand, signed an MVP as a UDFA, sort of…
Shut up
Wow, do we really need that many WRs now? I mean Reagor and Goodwin were enough today, and then we went ahead and added 2 more WRs again haha. I think we could use another OT maybe, just because of additional depth. Maybe an RB (because I think we need at least 3, and I don’t like Elijah Holyfield). Maybe another LB, idk.
You’re right, they went and added a whole bunch of late round pics that are picked in the late rounds for a reason. They should’ve gone after quality over quantity.
I want to see one of these guys get added: Prince Tega Wanogho,Trey Adams, Eno Benjamin.
Ohhh! I got Wanogho at least!
I wanted him also
Yeah, bumpy93, so now we got Driscoll and Wanogho from Auburn!
Eno Benjamin to Arizona…
They may go RB with the last pick or grab
a few in UFA .
Ignoring pick 2 for a minute, this draft is looking pretty good. SPEED!
Hurts runs lot for a QB so it kinds fits
IMO, Jalen Hurts was a wasted pick, unless Wentz goes down for an extended period of time. Also, will have to keep an eye on what Justin Jefferson does for the Vikings. I was surprised they took Reagor over him. Reagor should be a very good pro but Jefferson appears to be more polished at this point in time.
Well Wentz is as brittle as your grandma
With the 17 games , Wentz/Qb’s in general tendencies to get injured, virus issues—-
Hurts make more sense
