On Thursday, the NFL confirmed eleven teams that will attend Colin Kaepernick‘s weekend workout. The Broncos, Browns, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Dolphins, Falcons, Giants, Jets, Lions, Patriots, and Redskins will all have representatives in Atlanta to scout the quarterback, but many more teams are expected to take part. 
Kaepernick’s old friends, the 49ers, will be on hand, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports hears. Ditto for the Seahawks, the only organization to audition Kaepernick since he became a free agent (Twitter link via ESPN.com’s Brady Henderson).
It would be a shock to see Kaepernick reunite with the 49ers, but stranger things have happened in sports. At minimum, they’re willing to take a look at Kaep to see what kind of shape he is in after a long hiatus from football. It’s worth noting that the Niners did not consider Kaepernick last season when Jimmy Garoppolo went down with a season-ending knee injury. Instead, they tried out the likes of Tom Savage, Kellen Clemens, and T.J. Yates.
The NFL still hasn’t disclosed why they’ve decided to hold this one-man combine for Kaepernick, nor have they explained the reasoning behind the timing. It has been speculated that the league office set up the audition in response to interest from NFL clubs, though those mystery teams are reportedly eyeing Kaepernick as an potential 2020 pickup rather than for the current season.

The Bears should at least test him as a kicker.
Bucs could make a lot of sense, it’d be impossible for him to be worse than Winston.
Winston has had a roller coaster season but Arians/TB wants to extend him so that’s definitely not a landing spot.

so essentially teams want him for for a backup and at kaps price he won’t be signing any ware. dolphins won’t be wanting him to start unless its for 6 games next yr . same with broncos they have a qb on ir this yr . the Bucs I see em sticking with the qb they know n kab a backup . so I don’t see kap signing that contract he wants as nobody is gonna pay a back that much
Broncos Brown Bucs Lions Patriots would be the only teams to really sign him. Pats could sign him to give them a Lamar look in practice to better prepare playoff time to try to contain him. Browns Broncos and 49ers would be a interesting look. But not sure if Kap would take a back up role on a contending team maybe looking to start. Just wanna see him back the league was a amazing talent at one point.
I don’t really see him joining the Patriots to be a practice squad QB.
Once again guys the NFL had to do this is part of the agreement nobody’s going to sign this fool, if it makes it real for you just imagine the Cowboys trying to sign them are the America’s team?
I am wondering if this is something that came out of Kap’s collusion case against the NFL. To my knowledge very little has been released out the outcome of that case but honest – I have not been paying attention to that case anyhow. The NFL is sooo full of drama as of late.
And lost in all of this is legendary coach Hue Jackson will be the ringleader of this circus tomorrow…

Some of these people writing here seem to have forgotten history. The Seahawks were NOT the only team to work him out or try him out.
The Baltimore Ravens actually worked him out, offered him a contract, and were actually going to sign him before his goofy racist girlfriend got on social media, called the owner a slave driver and Ray Lewis an Uncle Tom at which point the Ravens rescinded their offer.
Funny how they forget to mention this. Does he still have the same girlfriend? If so that should be an instant non-starter for any NFL team looking to sign him.
