The Colts will take a look at former Eagles first-round pick Marcus Smith on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com (on Twitter). Smith spent time with the Redskins last year but only appeared in two games.

Smith would help to fill the gap following the season-ending injury suffered by defensive end Kemoko Turay. However, he wouldn’t be a true replacement for Turay’s production. Turay, a second-round pick in the 2018 draft, notched four sacks as a part-timer last year. Smith, meanwhile, has never amassed more than 2.5 sacks since entering the league as a first-round choice in 2014.
The Colts lost Turay on Sunday, but they won the game against the Chiefs to go 3-2 on the season. After their bye week, they’ll travel to Houston to face the Texans.
Has to be someone from a practice squad better than this guy.
They are likely checking under all rocks to find people. Hell of a gutty performance the other night In KC
He’s not even good enough to play in the XFL.
They don’t travel to Houston after the bye, it’s a home game!
