The Antonio Brown soap opera could be winding down. On Monday, the Raiders’ star wide receiver reported to practice, as Adam Schefter of ESPN.com tweets.

Brown showed up at the Raiders’ facility Monday morning and was in attendance for the daily team meeting. The club’s walk-through practice was canceled, but Brown is back in the building and, ostensibly, ready to get to work.
The mercurial Brown has put the Raiders through the ringer in recent weeks. A cryotherapy mishap left the wide receiver with a foot injury, which was believed to have been the cause of his training camp absence. Then, we learned that Brown was actually staying away because the NFL barred him from wearing his favorite helmet. Brown is still awaiting the outcome of tests to his prized Schutt AiR Advantage headgear, but it now seems like he’s on the right track to suit up in September.
I bet Buffalo is grateful that deal fell through!
and the Steelers are loving what they got for him.
Buffalo players don’t usually skip practice. They just walk out during games.
lmao
Ouch!
The soap opera is just beginning. Wait till doesn’t get enough balls thrown to him or over under throws
Thinking Brown is setting up the helmet saga now as a diversion as when his stats decrease this upcoming year, he can blame it on the helmet instead of not playing for a better team
Was thinking the same thing!
Did they cancel the walk thru because he didn’t have a helmet?
They just wanted to go easy on him for his first day…
Lol
in other news, every other NFL player who isn’t a brain damaged man child showed up to practice weeks ago, when they were supposed to do so.
Haha, agreed
Yeah front page news when a guy shows up to work and almost 3000 others doing the same thing are already there for much less $$$$.
He’s a cancer and his agent is also
So did about 2000 other training camp NFL players … they all reported to camp. Can you make an article for each? What makes this high maintenance clown any different than the rest. All he need is a big red nose and some face paint …
Brown is reportedly still having difficulty getting helmet on his swelled head !!
Badda Bing!
The relevant question here is how much idiocy has to be created to get fans to watch Hard Knocks.
Why doesn’t he go to a High School and find a helmet from them. He can donate a bunch of money to the ASB fund for it. The same company checks the HS helmets. If the helmet is approved to use it would put that company at risk of showing they don’t use the same standards they do for the NFL or NCAA. That would open up a can of worms they would have to say it is approved. Don’t get me wrong the guy is a clown and he is going to be gas for that dumpster fire.
The other thing is why aren’t people calling BS he used that helmet in Pee Wee football? I couldn’t find the year they first started making that helmet. I do remember when it came out as I was a HS football official. The first couple years they were very rare. I doubt many Pee Wee teams had them because of cost. Maybe in HS but his HS didn’t look that wealthy unless Schutt sponsored the school they might have had them. I think this is a fool making a big deal over a helmet when the newer ones are far better. The vision thing is another dodge. Gruden is pampering this guy because he knows he needs him. How many more years will Chuckles have a job? You know Marckles the twin dummies will fire him and not pay the rest of his contract. Taking a page out of daddies book. That place has been a clown show for so long I almost feel sorry for the fans. Lol almost. The maker of nightmares.
His helmet is 11 years old, he is 31, who said it was from pee wee football?
He has said along with Drew that he had worn the same helmet in pee wees HS and college. I assume he meant model because in pee wee he would wear a youth helmet. Maybe not maybe his head was so big back then he needed an adult. His head is sure big now the Raiders after going to have fun with this nut job.
