Seventh Round (1)
- Vikings, 7-250: Austin Cutting, LS (Air Force)
As expected, the first round (10) and third round (9) lead the way in stragglers. First-round picks tend to have the most leverage, which means agents will often haggle on issues such as offset language. Third-round negotiations also tend to drag since there is wiggle room when it comes to base salaries.201
There’s gotta be something going on with the 6 and 7th round guys….does the USAF guy owe any service?
Yeah. The Air Force hasn’t made a decision on when and where he’ll be deployed. As for Shelley, I haven’t a clue.
Bosa will be the last to sign
They are probably working on moving the Air Force to the Reserve or Guard so he can fulfill his commitment to the service.
I think the Army tried that with Pat Tillman but he wasn’t interested in getting special treatment. That may influence what decisons Cutting makes as well.
What the hell is Duke Shelley waiting for- an engraved invitation?
He’s from Kansas so maybe he is waiting for a pair of red shoes and directions on how to find the yellow brick road.
