The Bills made a move in the third round, agreeing to a deal with the Redskins to acquire the No. 96 overall pick. For moving down 16 spots, the Redskins will receive a fourth-round pick (No. 131).
With the higher pick, the Bills selected Ole Miss tight end Dawson Knox. He will join Tyler Kroft as part of Buffalo’s new-look tight end corps.
Charles Clay headed the Bills’ tight end group for four years, but the team released their longtime starter earlier this year. They now have Kroft, Knox and converted tackle Jake Fisher in the fold.
Let me clarify what this article tried to say but failed.
Redskins trade #96 in the 3rd to the bills for the bills 4th round pick #113,, as well as the bills other 4th round pick #131. The Redskins now have two 4th round, two 5th round, 1 sixth, and 2 seventh round picks.
Thank you. Otherwise what was the use in that trade
What was the friggin point of picking up TJ Yeldon?!…When I heard prior to the draft that they loved Singletary, I just didnt see it…Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy, but there were WAY better picks to be had…Especially after picking up Yeldon…Bryce Love would be a STEAL later on in the draft to let sit and learn and his ceiling is so much higher than Singletary…Unless there is a blockbuster trade with McCoys name on it, we just used a pick on a guy that we could have used on a Butler, Ridley, Warring, Harris, etc…Big targets for Josh to throw t…I think it was a panic pick…
