The Raiders and the Coliseum Authority reached an agreement for the team to remain in Oakland for the 2019 season, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweets. The two sides are still ironing out details, but the deal will allow the Raiders to also stay for 2020 if their Las Vegas stadium is not ready.

After a board meeting to solidify the agreement on Friday or Tuesday, the deal will go in front of Oakland city council. After that, the Raiders will seek final approval at the league meetings in March.
There have been a number of scenarios discussed for the Raiders recently, including one in which the Raiders would play in San Francisco’s Oracle Park, the home of MLB’s Giants. That accord ran into issues, however, as the 49ers refused to waive their territorial rights to the San Francisco area.
The Raiders are expected to pay a $7.5MM fee to play in the Coliseum in 2019.
Thank god
One more year and that absolute dump. Well I think it will make them appreciate that gorgeous stadium that is being built here in Vegas all the more when they come out here in 2020. I still say the mayor of San Francisco and the mayor of Oakland worked together to make sure the Raiders had no alternative. The Raiders could have played at the home of the Giants and the mayor of San Francisco blocked it why would you not want more revenue pumping through your city? I sense collusion.
The Giants Oracle Park is privately owned by the Giants. The City would only get sales tax revenue from concession sales and parking tax revenue. SF would get the transportation and traffic headache
I think they should go play in North Korea! I think most everyone in California political philosophy equals communism
As opposed to your idiotism?
Too many isms here…..
This would be funny if it wasn’t so stupid. I’d be surprised if you were able to put a pair of pants on by yourself
Wouldn’t be suprising if Goodell decided to have a game in South Korea as another international money grab
The Coliseum Stadium management extorted Davis for double the usual rent of this dump so one can only wonder to what extent they will try to fleece those that attend games.
The Coliseum Stadium Management should have taken a hard line, The Raiders are leaving anyway, so why kiss up to them and go crawling back to them to provide them with a place to play in 2019? The Raiders should have been left twisting in the wind in search of place to play.
The Coliseum Stadium management are the chumps. Las Vegas and everyone else is laughing at them. They drove away one of the NFLs storied franchises. Assuming the dump doesn’t fall down, the only events they can host in the future are monster truck shows.
