Could we see Jim Harbaugh back on the NFL sidelines in 2019? At least one team hopes that will be the case, according to a league source who spoke with Mike Florio of PFT.

One unknown club is planning to make a run at the Michigan head coach after the season is through, Florio hears. It’s unclear whether he’ll bite, and for what it’s worth, he has denied any interest in leaving Ann Arbor for the professional ranks.
“I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying at Michigan,” Harbaugh said in early December, adding that he believes the rumors are part of an outside effort to undermine Michigan’s recruiting. “We have big plans here, and there’s a lot we want to accomplish.”
Harbaugh parted ways with the 49ers after the 2014 season, marking the end of a four-year run. He’s also at the four-year mark at Michigan, which is a recurring number in his career. Harbaugh spent just four years each with the Raiders, the University of San Diego, Stanford, and the Niners, so it’s fair to wonder if he’s getting the itch to move yet again.
The No. 7 ranked Wolverines will face Florida in the Peach Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 29.
It’s the Browns
Ugh
Ugh? Guess you weren’t impressed with his first stint as a head coach? But hey, who likes Super Bowls and NFC Championship games as a fan base?
My ugh comes from me being a Buckeyes fan and him being from that school up north. And yes, I feel the same way about their players, too.
Immature
How is that immature? It’s called fandom.
Id accept Satan as my coach if he won games.
At least you’re honest!
No love for Jabrill Peppers then? I wouldn’t mind having him here in Chicago.
Broncos. Elway/ Stanford connection
Harbaugh replacing Harbaugh in Baltimore.
Wouldn’t want to be at their Christmas dinners if that happens.
Cowboys
Broncos?
Probably Jets. Macagnan is desperate to save his job I’m sure.
Harbaugh is massively overrated. His no nonsense treat NFL players like 13 year olds doesn’t work. He will never be as good as Pete Carrol who actually won a super bowl and natty
Dude, your baseball takes are WAYYYY better than your Football takes. Dude was ONE play from being a SB winning coach, coached in a NFC championship game in his first tenure in the NFL. It’s no coincidence how the SF franchise went downhill right after he left for college. C’mon man! You can’t be that naive.
I never said he can’t coach in the NFL period. This idea that he is some coaching genuis is what i have a problem with. Dan Quinn took a team to the superbowl. Doug Marrone took a team with awful pedigree to the AFC championship. Both of them are 50/50 to be fired after the season. People point to the success he bad early in SF but look at it the other way. Their window shut extremely fast in 2014 because of the tension he caused. Their mistake was hiring Tomsula abd Kelly.
Those coaches you mentioned had ONE year of success. Harbaugh had multiple years. It wasn’t his choice to leave, but it was the egos in the front office that facilitated his departure. Of course, he ruffled some feathers, BUT those ruffled feathers came with success, and no one can deny it, no matter how they spin it. He did an above average job in SF
Does he really leave Michigan now that Meyer is gone and he has a good chance to finally beat Ohio St?
Ryan Day will beat him, too.
Oilers?
Tampa Bay Bucs
jetsssssss
I think it’s the Broncos. I think the Browns are going to after McCarthy. Obviously I could be wrong but I really think that’s the case. I’m a fan of Harbaugh, I love his passion for the game and his passion and love for whatever team he’s coaching. I think he’d do good with the Broncos or Browns if it’s either of those.
Ross with the dolphins. He’s the biggest donor in history of schools and it all goes to Michigan.
Dolphins luck they’ll chase him before they fire Gase, then Harbaugh will turn them down. Super awkward contract extension for Gase then they end up firing him next year anyway. It’s basically Sparano 2.0.
Not GB. Not GB. Not GB.
*fingers crossed*
That’s ridiculous, GB would be lucky to have harbaugh. They may actually win a couple of Super Bowls with him and Rodgers before Rodgers time is up
Keep that freak show as far away from Mayfield as possible.
Yea…. no way you want a coach with a 44-19 career record around Mayfield. I swear they need to start screening more before they let people comments. SMH
Don’t worry, harbaugh wouldn’t come close to that dumpster fire that is Cleveland
Honey Badger don’t care!
