The CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III to their exclusive negotiation list, a source tells ESPN.com’s Kevin Seifert (Twitter link). It’s not clear if Kaepernick or Griffin are open to playing north of the border, but if they do, their rights will be reserved by the Tiger-Cats. 
Kaepernick and RG3 are among the best free agent quarterbacks left on the board, but, for different reasons, they haven’t garnered a lot of interest from NFL teams thus far. Kaepernick is a lightning-rod for controversy who is years removed from his best work. Griffin, meanwhile, is even further removed from his salad days and barely played in 2016 due to injury. In time, I expect that Griffin will find work, but it’s possible that all 32 teams could avoid Kaepernick over fear of a locker room distraction.
The Tiger-Cats also own the rights to Johnny Manziel, giving them three big-name QB possibilities.

Kap should not be left unsigned. If so that’s obvious collusion by owners. How is he worse than Kellem Clemens? Josh McCown? Josh Joshnson? This guy can’t even sniff a visit to a team. He deserves better and the NFL hopefully gets a collusion case going against them if left unsigned.
It’s more of his attitude that’s keeping out then playing ability
U get right on that Perry Mason. Why is it so hard too understand that he’s not a good NFL QB and has squandered the opportunities he’s had. That being said, he does have a terrific skill set for a CFL QB. He would still be a professional getting paid too play a game. A lil more time with head in playbook and lil less on thoughts of societies plight by mediocre back-up QB. Good luck.

Dude hashtag nobody is telling you to take your Kaepernick posters down they’re just stating facts…he’s a controversial figure and has regressed as a QB…to be honest he’s made the headlines for all the wrong reasons just about every offseason now and if I were a coach/GM/owner I wouldn’t want anybody (especially my QB) making headlines for the wrong reasons…it’s a distraction that you don’t want or need on an NFL football team

At no time do owners or GMs have to guarantee a tryout or sign a player. It is a privilege not a right to play in the NFL.

Really, whats the sound like exactly, because i didnt vote for trump and i would tend to say the same thing. If someone thinks the u.s. Is such a horrible place, then surely theres somewhere else they think is better, why not go there?
So because he protests a song he hates America. He sees a very different America than you do and is speaking up for the people who don’t have a voice. Ignoring problems in our country should be seen as hating America but as an act of patriotism

That may be true, he is entitled to free speech, but as many people are learning nowadays, you are not free of the ramifications that may come with it.
As a veteran I find it disgraceful what he did. Many have fallen to protect his right to free speach, those same people rolled over in their graves when he used that right to desecrate out flag. An infinite number of ways to spread your message and that was the way he best saw fit. Disrespectful, disgraceful, an un American. Forget him ‘leaving’, he should be thrown out!

It’s funny how mad people get when someone don’t stand for the flag, but those people won’t pray with me when I’m praying to God who created the heavens and earth. They say if your not happy with this country get out, well then if your not greatfull to God then go somewhere.
Thats wierd, considering it would typically be those who arent happy about him not standing that tend to be more religious. It typically is the left that openly mocks anyone who believes in a god.
By chance, if they dont believe in/are not grateful to god, where would they go, im pretty sure any god would be all encompassing, not just specific to one country or region.
