Spend some $$$, Browns!
I know the Raiders have a ton of money to spend to get to the floor so what must the Browns have to spend to get to the floor? The difference is the Raiders are good and still have a bunch of money to spend. The Browns suck and the money doesn’t seem to matter they will still suck.
Yeah fortunately for the Raiders they aren’t at the bottom of the barrel and have become perennial super bowl contenders. Because of that they will be able to throw out a wider net than the Browns, who really can only offer money.
The Browns do not have to spend to get to the floor.
The Raiders should use some of that money now and lock up long term some of their very best players so in a season or two it’s not uh oh how are we going to sign so and so now cause we don’t have the coin. Think a couple years out with your plethora of cash. The Browns will only be able to overpay some guys that could careless about winning ever and just want the jing. No stud free agent will ever go there.
So I’m hearing the 9ers will have about 80-90 million to spend. That’s insane. Hopefully they can fill some holes this offseason with some quality players and hopefully they don’t spend the money just to spend it.
Too bad building a team through free agency is probably the worst way to build a team
