Signing Osweiler for 72 mill is a darn ballsy move by the Texans…was the sample size truly big enough and was the sample itself impressive enough to warrant that large of a contract? WOW!!! That signing screams of desperation from a team in need of solid play from a quarterback. How much better is he than Hoyer? Would it have benefitted the Texans to draft someone, say, Hackenberg, and give Hoyer another year in the same system rather than handcuffing your organization to a relatively unproven 22million dollar commodity like Brock Osweiler? Like I said…you smell that??? Kinda smells like irrational thinking with a hint of desperation!!! LOL!!!
